Quilt Label: Congratulations on your new American handmade traditional patchwork quilt! Today you might not think of your patchwork quilt as a work of art, but, in future years the quilt will be handed down for generations and then it might be sold in an estate auction, in an antique shop, or perhaps seen on the Antique Roadshow for appraisal. The labeled quilt will have more value as a result.
My Quilt Disease is providing a beautiful machine embroidered label for your use. You can personalize the label using a permanent fabric marking pen.
Include important information, such as; owners name, quilt pattern, year, etc. If the quilt is a gift, include the name of the recipient and the occasion for which it was presented.
How to apply: Use a hot iron to heat set the ink. Cover the label with a clean white cloth and press for 5-10 seconds. Sew the label on back corner of the quilt using small hidden stitches.
Washing Powders and Instructions: Included in your order is washing powder and how to use instructions. When it becomes necessary for the quilt to be washed, you will have a recommended quilt washing powder and how to use instructions.
