This American handmade traditional quilt features "Overall Bill", a timeless pattern from the early 1900's. The 44"1/2 x 441/2" baby quilt or wall hanging is a dual purpose quilt. The patchwork blocks feature homespun and 100% cotton fabric. The 12 crayon colored calendar blocks show "Bill" doing monthly chores! Crayon quilts are not new. Crayon colored quilts have been found in quilts from the 1920's. This Little Lad wears blue overalls and a straw hat to protect his "faceless" freckled face. A variety of machine quilting stitches adds interest to the quilt.
